WHERE DO THEY LIVE?

These beautiful fish can be found in the crystal clear waters of coral reefs, that's their habitat. However, many are taken away each year by people who rather have them in an aquarium. What do you think about that?

HABITAT

A habitat is the natural home, environment or place for plants, animals and other organisms. A natural habitat provides organisms with all they need to survive like food, water and shelter.

DID YOU KNOW?

Angelfish are omnivores (this big word means that they eat both plants and animals). Their diet includes sponges, algae, jellyfish and small fish.
    WRITING ACTIVITY ✏️
Write a sentence about your favorite marine animal using at least two vocabulary words.

    VOCABULARY WORDS

    SCIENCE ACTIVITY 🌎
Why do we need to protect the animals and plants' habitats? Answer in a complete sentence. Use vocabulary words.

    MARINE BIOLOGIST 🐬

Marine biologists are super cool scientists who study life in the oceans. They are also known as wildlife biologists, zoologists, fish and wildlife biologists, fisheries biologists, aquatic biologists, conservation biologists, and biological technicians.
